LENGTH: 90 MINUTES
SYNOPSIS: Every profession requires a system of values and principles that must be followed in order for the members of that profession to be considered highly ethical. In today's challenging world of volunteer SAR, do we meet that standard? Have we evolved to a point where training in SAR ETHICS should be incorporated into our basic training programs? This 90 minute block of instruction discusses the need for adopting a code of ethics and ethics training and the responsibility that each individual and organization involved in search and rescue has to maintain high ethical standards.
